The Assist (Smart Jocks, #1)The Assist by Rebecca Jenshak
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I saw this book quite a while ago and shelved it it my TBR's. I just picked it up the other day and figured it might hit the spot for a College Romance craving I'd been having.

And boy did it ever!

This was such a cute, sweet, steamy, fun read!

Rebecca Jenshak is a new author for me but I will definitely be on the look out for more of her stuff. This book was filled with the best kind of tension, playful and fun characters, a sweet book boyfriend - who was not a man whore, for once - and no pointless angst. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Wes is a super sexy basketball stud who's been going through a rough time since he hurt himself of the court. He's been working to get back to his former star player self and has no room for relationships. It's his responsibility to get his team to the championships and win.
Blair is a fellow college student, sorority sister type without the 'ditz' who's trying to make it through the year with grades intact. She's failing her physics class and notices Mr. Hot Jock in the back can't even keep his eyes open during lecture, yet somehow is acing the course. A little bit of misjudgment on her part and snarkiness on his makes for a very fun start to their relationship.

This is a really fun enjoyable read and I would definitely recommend it to any fans of the new adult college romance :)

Review: His Love

His Love His Love by Fiona Davenport
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

This one was alright. It was a little too much for me.
I feel like the attraction starting at 16 is just a bit... icky... no action taken on the crush until after 18 but still...

I'm sure this totally works for some people, just not my cup of tea :/

Review: Captured

Captured Captured by Ella Goode
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

3.75 Insta-love stars...

New author for me and I have to say I enjoyed her style! These kind of books are absolutely great if you don't have a ton of time to invest in a life consuming novel that you know is going to be on your brain every second you can't read it. I'll get back to those again one of these days, but these types of reads are great craving satisfiers :)

Fun story! Very insta - Everything but you expect that going in.. at least you should :)

Review: Untouched

Untouched Untouched by Alexa Riley
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

So I am on a little binge of these short lusty novellas right now and this is definitely one of those. There is even less angst than a normal Alexa Riley and I think I read it in 50 min. last night.

It's fun for a quick read :)

Review: Stranded With My Brother's Best Friend

Stranded With My Brother's Best Friend Stranded With My Brother's Best Friend by J.L. Beck
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. It was a fun story and fun characters with an interesting plot line. Fun little read.

Our main man Noah was super mega hot with his filthy mouth and sometimes stoic, sometimes fun and teasing personality. Heroine, Riley "Ridge" was very fun and pretty relateable. I liked her spitfire attitude and that she wouldn't let Noah get away with shit.

I'd like to read more from this author in the future so I will have to see what other treats she has out there :)
