Seriously, my absolute FAVORITE smut to this point in life... EVER!

I have never read this book and have only listened to the narration of it and...
HOLY MIND MELTING ORGASM BATMAN I am surprised I didn't burst into flames halfway through! Jacob Morgan (AKA Zachary Webber) is just ... my god... I just ... dear lord... ovary exploding isn't even a strong enough term for what his voice does to me!


Seriously, Jacob/Zachary is like my ideal man in voice form. My love for him cannot be overstated. I'm not like a Kathy Bates 'Misery' status fan, but whatever that level of fan is without all the stalking, kidnapping and general psychopathic tendencies would be... That's me.
I want to find him and make him read things to me in that amazing voice of his. I'm not picky with the material. Could be a book, magazine, hell even a shopping list read by him could get me all hot and bothered.
That's too much information I think...

I can't criticize one thing about this entire book. It was so hot and so naughty, but also had this deep emotion and just some beautiful writing that you just really feel when you listen to it. The characters, Tyler and Poppy, are flawed and imperfect but endearing as hell. I just love it.

Ready For Him was really a fun, quick little read. I love a good older man younger woman romance pretty much anytime. Who doesn't! They are super hot!

Grant was a delectable hunk of man and Cheyanne was a stereotypical virginal 18-year-old with a childhood long obsession with the hot older neighbor boy. Can't go wrong unless your expecting some major "OMG... What just happened" plot twist...

There isn't one...

Just a little sexual tension turned to super hot sex and a cute little boy. BUT that was good enough for me :)

I thought Hale did a nice job with characterization and pacing the plot line given the fact that there was a minimal number of pages. There were some things I thought could have made it a little more engaging and give us a better understanding of each characters motives and general personality, but given the fact that the book was a novella, I can understand why we didn't get much detail on each of their lives outside the building relationship between the MC's.
Our heroine Cheyanne is back home to look after her father who just suffered a heart attack and needs some caretaking. Our Hero Grant is also back in town to fix up and move into his parents home (His childhood home) with his 3-year-old son after going through a rough divorce with his ex-wife. Grant and Cheyanne have always shared a special connection despite their 10 year age gap. Cheyanne has always looked at Grant like her super-hero and grant has always seen Cheyanne as the cute little girl next door who always looked up to him. Now that they are both back in town they reconnect over Cheyanne's backyard pool, his son's love for swimming and Grants need for a dependable babysitter. At the first interaction, they both know their connection is still simmering between them, but something not so innocent is now sparking right alongside it.
This was a very cute story and while some of the dialogue could be a little trite I thought it was overall a good read!

A Sticky Situation by Missy Johnson

This is my first book of this series. I know... It's the last book of said series, but they are all stand alone's though so no biggie!

Its a really cute read! I was honestly very surprised by a little twist in the beginning there and was not sure if I was 100% excited about it, but I hung in there and turned out to be pretty happy with the result.

The story is pretty hilarious with many awkward situations and stumbling moments that are sure to have you cracking up. The MC's, Nate and Hannah, are funny and endearing with lots of chemistry to make the story steamy.

A little Spoiler here people! -

So you find out near the beginning that Brix is an Identical Twin and Hannah is actually spending time with Nate instead. I was kind of hoping for Brix's "issue" to be something a little more interesting than being gay... But, to be 100% honest, I was really only bummed because I really wanted there to be a book for him coming up, but I am not really into MM... so bummer for me I guess!!

Ex's Best Friend by Aubrey Wright

"She was temptation made flesh, and I was the lucky asshole who had to sleep down the hall from her.

I have to say, I was really not expecting this story. Based on the summary, I was expecting some "You stole my girlfriend" 'Bro drama'. A little "I can't betray my ex by sleeping with his best friend" angst. Lots of of forbidden sexy times, then an HEA.

This book delivered SO MUCH MORE! I have never read this author before and found her from an Amazon recommendation. She looks relatively new with only a few books out, but I would like to see where her books go from here. I really liked this one!

Our three main characters: Emma Burk is a struggling Romance writer in NYC living as a roommate to quasi-celebrity entrepreneur Micheal Hart. Michael Hart has been "Best Friends" with George Stemsen since they were 17/18 and have had a very complex relationship. Georgie boy just so happens to also be Emma's Ex-boyfriend.

Now, This is not love triangle, so don't punch out of this book because you hate those like I do. (I HATE love triangles! Brings back my PTSD from all the "Twilight" arguments I had as a teen. Team Edward? Team Jacob? HOW ABOUT TEAM NO STUPID CHICKS WHO CAN'T MAKE UP THEIR MIND!)

ANYHOO! On with the story... So our characters have known each other since college, where Emma first meets Michael, then George. From there Emma and George become a perfect little couple for the next few years to come. Unbeknownst to Emma, Our Michael, was itching to make a run at her before George ever came in the picture. Therefore, he has been crushing on his best friends girl since the very beginning. AND - spoiler alert - Emma feels the same about Michael.
So here we are a few years later, Emma has been broken up with George for about 6 months because he cheated and was being just an all around douche canoe. She is still living with Michael and they are finding it hard to tame their unrelenting desire for one another.
*As a side note - MICHAEL I know we say this about all book boyfriends, but seriously! If any REAL man has the same characteristics as this man please point him in my direction!! I mean COME ON - He is probably the most perfect specimen of book boyfriend I have ever read about. JUST.... swoon...

The way the story unfolds from here was really interesting. There were twists I didn't see coming, unexpected plot turns, really likable characters. It was just a refreshing surprise!

Only a couple things I had a little trouble with:
The whole Date Me app and instant messenger thing felt a little unnecessary. I think everything they learned about each other could have been accomplished by simply doing roommate activities and then we could have seen and felt a little more of the connection between the two of them. I think maybe just because of were the story started in the timeline of their relationship with each other, we missed some of the emotional connection.

Other than that though I think this was a really great introduction to a new author for me and I am really looking forward to trying more of her stuff! :)

I have to say that I just I LOVE K. Webster. I have read almost all her TABOO Series except for the ones that I know are out of my wheelhouse (Dane, Glue, and Lawn Boys - I am sure they are just as excellent as all her other writing, but just not my cup of tea.)

Even as great as this series is though, Enzo seemed to stand out to me a particularly good. It was more heart-warming and emotional, has gut-wrenching sadness and put-a-smile-on-your-face happiness, and of course, sex scenes that burn up the pages. I loved that this was such an emotional journey.

When we first meet her Jenna is an almost 18 year old foster kid who has been shuffled from home to home for her entire childhood. She has had mostly bad experiences in the homes she has stayed in and has dealt with a lot of things that a 17 year old girl should never have had to. When she is 16, she meets Cora in a foster home she has been placed in. Cora is 6 months old and Jenna takes on responsibility for her when she sees her current "mother" is incapable and unwilling to care for the colicky 6 month old. From that point forward her and Cora have moved around together and Jenna becomes a surrogate mother to the little "banshee baby".
When she is nearing her 18th birthday she is given a handsome new social worker in Enzo. He was himself a foster kid who had the good fortune to be adopted by a loving family at the age of 9. At first, their relationship is one of a social worker to their charge. He moves her to a new home when reports of abuse surface in the current situation. As time goes on he starts to let go of some of his professional distance and care for Jenna more than he should. Their relationship evolves and becomes something much more.
All you want is for all these characters to find peace and become that happy family they deserve to be. It was my favorite so far out of this series!

Dark Skye by Kresley Cole

So, I skipped ahead .... I do plan on going back to read all the ones I skipped but after I read Kiss of the Demon King I could not wait to read Lanthe and Thronos' story!!

So glad I did because it was SO GREAT! I LOVE and good enemies-to-lovers story and the whole Love/Hate thing in this book was so spot on. The way their relationship grows in this story is paced so well. I really Love how Cole creates these imperfect characters who don't necessarily see their flaws until the other MC shows them. Thronos was the perfect example of this. He is basically considered an "angel" and hails from "Skye Hall" according to the Lore and believes wholeheartedly that he and his people are warriors for good. He learns over the course of the story that all may not be as it seems. I loved how both the MC's grew as people throughout and it was about more then just the falling in love and action scenes. I also LOVE these worlds that Cole is able to create in your mind. You can see everything so clearly. Such creativity, I love it!

Really great story with excellent chemistry between characters and a fantastical plot!
